Online contributions through Children's Hospital:
Online contributions can be made directly to the guild by using the online
donation process on the Seattle Children's Hospital web site. However, you must take
care to specify the Mitochondrial Research Guild as the target of your donation
or it will go to the general funds of the hospital. Under "Please direct my donation
to:" section, please enter "Mitochondrial Research Guild" in the "Other" box. Also, at
the bottom of the form check the box that says, "Click here if you would like
your donation to receive Guild credit" and again enter the guild name in the box
below the check box. The secure web page for making donations is at
https://secure.seattlechildrens.org
.
Annual Giving Campaigns at Work
There are several ways to contribute to the guild through your annual giving campaign at work:
- If your workplace allows you to select any recognized charitable organization,
please request that The Mitochondrial Research Guild be added to your companies
list of charitable organizations. Please use our address:

If you are a government employee, donations can be made through the
Combined Fund Drive. As a donor you must select Children's Hospital & Regional
Medical Center and write in "Mitochondrial Research Fund". The CFD knows that
this group is part of Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center and will
therefore map Mito gifts to the hospital. CFD gifts will be sent out and reported
quarterly and your gift will show your name, address and gift designation.

Donations to the Mitochondrial Research Guild can also be made to through
United Way. As the donor you must select Children's Hospital & Regional Medical
Center and write in "Mitochondrial Research Fund". Children's Hospital will make
sure that these donations are put into the Mitochondrial Research Guild account.
