The Mitochondrial Research Guild participates in many events throughout the year to raise awareness about mitochondrial disease, provide support for our families and raise funds to support our team of Mito Specialists at Seattle Children’s. Please consider joining us at one of our upcoming events listed below!
The 9th Annual Mito Golf Tournament – Postponed
Take a swing at Mito and please join us for this year’s 9th annual Cure for Mito Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament originally scheduled for May 20th will be postponed until sometime in the summer or early fall due to COVID-19. The tournament will be at Heron Links at Willows Run, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Mitochondrial Research Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital; last year’s event raised over $15,000! Special thanks to Isabella Serex, Caiden Bertsch, and Audrey Bertsch for organizing this year’s event and to everyone who is part of the Bertsch’s community who make this event possible. Over the last 8 years, this event has raised over $100,000. Check back in late April for updates on a new date.
The 18th Annual Mito Cocktail Party
Please join us for this year’s annual fund raiser at Willows Lodge in Woodinville, WA on October 17, 2020. This years’ event is continuing the journey we have been on for 18 years of working together to one day find a cure for Mito! This journey would not be possible without the continued support of our dream team of doctors, Seattle Children’s Hospital and Research Center and all of our amazing supporters.
This year we will once again be hosting our event at Willows Lodge in Woodinville. This is your chance to enjoy an evening out with friends in a beautiful setting with a wide variety of beverages and fabulous food provided by the talented chefs at Willows Lodge. Cocktails will be served along with wines provided by JM Cellars.
The evening will include stories and updates from our Mito community including our Dream Team of Mito specialists at Seattle Children’s, and a Raise the Paddle to continue to support this amazing team!
The evening will begin at 6:30 pm and space is limited so please register early to secure your space. Registration will open up in May.
