Geocaching Coins
In memory of Austin Wink who passed away on August 5, 2011, Austin’s Dad produced a trackable Geocaching coin with Austin’s image. The coins can be purchased for $20 with all the proceeds being donated to the guild in Austin’s memory. Austin, who was diagnosed with Alper’s disease, which is a rare form of mitochondrial disease that is progressive and is difficult to treat, lived a short but memorable life. All of the proceeds will continue to support our researchers that hope to one day be able to make a difference for children like Austin. For more information on Austin, please read Austin’s Story (include a link back to Austin’s Story in the Mito Children section)
To order a geocaching coin, please send an email to Edward Wink at kc7dqm@gmail.com
